A little something to cuddle up in!

The original idea for this afghan was baby sized, but the blocks were turning out too big and heavy. 

So I went with my instincts and made a few extra blocks and this is what happened. 

I think it turned out ok.

I gave it as a gift to a friend, and I think she liked it!

I thought I was ready...

But as it turns out, I wasn't.

I think I might be ready now.

We'll see how it all goes.

First things first, my name is Christine, and I am a crocheter!

Welcome to my new home on the Web!

I have loved crochet since my children were babies and I wanted to make blankets and hats and mittens for them. This has grown into a love of all things crochet, well mostly anyway - I have yet to get the hang of fine cotton crochet, but it will come I am sure!

My goal for this blog is to connect with others like me, display some of my work, and learn along the way.
